Three Saturdays of great weather in a row. In November! Apparently if you live near the cities it is statistically more likely to rain on Saturday than any other day of the week, something about pollution.
A good four hours riding today, and an improvement on last weekend's ride for endurance although I was still spinning in the final few kms (and no cravings for junk food Jesper ;-)). Feeling much more comfortable on the bike now, it's surprising how only a month or two off the bike can affect your comfort. The most uncomfortable thing today was my poor choice of clothing, too heavy a jacket meant I was really cooking on the hills.
Thanks to the South Western club for the offer of a drag into Shalford. I did a few weekend runs with them when I lived in London and they are one of the friendliest clubs I have ridden with.

Good riding Iain...
weather is very dry here. this is good as todays' ride was quite chilly. could be explained in part by 3 punctures; none all year then they all come at once...perhaps I need an article on winter tyre choices / pressures / where not to ride etc...first use of a superb little pump from TOPEAK [do I get any freebies now]...my riding time was 3 and half on the flat however passing the final garage I had to stop and ate a Yorkie bar, Twix and Monster Munch...I guess you might be right but man, does MM taste good when you're hungary!

Vittoria Revolution KXS - I've got a pair and they have proven very resistant to punctures and grip well, plus they last twice as long as regular tyres!
